The PROSPERO Public Address System operates on a standard IP network and uses B/S architecture. The server-side of its master control software is installed on a PC running the Windows Server operating system and operates as a Windows service in the background, controlling and monitoring all PROSPERO device components. Full functionality of the broadcast software is available through the PRPLSSW system software license authorization, which is provided in the form of a USB dongle that can be inserted into any of the PC's USB ports prior to booting the host PC.
